Purpose of the Program
To train technicians who know the basic functions of computers, who have experience in computer electronics, hardware and low-level programming, who can use all kinds of operating systems, file management and editing programs, who can use general purpose package programs, who can design active web pages on the Internet, who have knowledge in the field of database programming languages, who know at least one of the current programming languages at a good level, who can use at least one of the computer-aided design programs.

To train computer technicians who can think scientifically and creatively, who will be successful and beneficial to their country. In order to achieve this mission, it is to keep the program constantly updated and to try to raise it to international standards, taking into account the needs of the rapidly changing and developing computer world.

To train computer technicians who can think innovatively, have algorithmic problem solving competence, use current software technologies effectively, adhere to ethical values and compete on a global scale.

Requirements for Graduation from the Program
The student must be considered successful according to Gaziosmanpaşa University Associate and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations.
The education period is 2 years (4 semesters) and the optional Foreign Language (English) preparatory class is not included in these periods. Students are required to complete the 2-year program in 4 years (8 semesters). Students are required to complete at least 120 ECTS credits in order to graduate from the home patient care program.
Program Educational Objectives (PEO);
PEO 1: Acquiring Vocational Qualification
It is aimed to provide students with practical professional knowledge and skills in the fields of software development, database management, web programming and system installation. It is aimed that graduates can be employed as software developers, system support specialists or technical personnel in the sector.
PEO 2: Adapting to Technological Developments
It is aimed that students will be able to follow innovations in the field of information technologies and use new tools effectively. In this way, graduates become individuals who can quickly adapt to changing sector needs.
PEO 3: Ethics, Communication and Teamwork Awareness
The program aims to train students as individuals who respect professional ethical values, have responsibility and effective communication skills. In addition, they gain the ability to work harmoniously in a team and contribute to project management processes.
PEO 4: Lifelong Learning and Personal Development
Students are encouraged to develop the habit of continuous learning and to increase their professional competencies after graduation. To this end, individual development is encouraged through certificates, seminars and elective courses.
PEO 5: Preparation for Higher Education and Academic Development
It is aimed to provide the academic infrastructure to make vertical transfer to related undergraduate programs. Thus, it is possible for students who wish to continue their education uninterruptedly and assume higher professional roles.
