Purpose and Objectives:
To prepare professionals for the business world—where computer systems are integral to every field—who understand the basic functions of computers, have experience in computer electronics, hardware, and low-level programming, are capable of using any type of operating system, file management, and editing software, and can utilize general-purpose software packages, design active web pages on the Internet, possess knowledge of database programming languages, have a good command of at least one current programming language, and be able to use at least one computer-aided design program.
